How do the pins attach to the canvas/wall? Will they damage it?Updated 5 months ago

The Smart Pins work just like traditional map pins, with a fine steel tip that slips easily into cork, foam, or our specially designed canvas. They leave only the smallest of pinholes, no bigger than a standard map pin. On walls, we recommend cork boards, soft backing, or foam for the best experience — though careful placement on regular walls is also possible.
